To all Members

Mr Tom Bradley

It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that our friend and fellow member, Tom Bradley, passed away this afternoon at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington.

Tom slipped and fell over whilst walking on 7th January, which was his 71st birthday and then ended up at St Mary’s in their Trauma Unit.

Whilst slowly recovering Tom suffered heart failure, from which he never fully recovered.

Joining the club as an 18-year-old Tom was cross-country runner of which he won some championship awards and as a member here was very good at darts and snooker, playing in the respective leagues. He was an engineer in his working life.

To Tom’s family we send our sincere condolences, he was a loyal and dedicated member of 53 years and many of us will miss his friendly conversations  very much.

We will publish further details when known

Yours sincerely

Peter Edwards
Chairman
